The red dot is no stranger to luxury, but The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore manages to mix five-star hospitality with family fun without it feeling like an afterthought. It’s one of the few hotel properties that is equally tailored to families as it is to business travellers and couples on a weekend splurge.
But even before you hit the kid-focused experiences, the hotel itself delivers some serious splendour. Located in the Marina Bay precinct, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is known for its soaring ceilings and sweeping skyline views. Step inside and you're met with a private collection of contemporary art along with an impressive catalogue of luxury rooms and bathtubs perfectly placed for sunset soaks.
Read on for our review of the Ritz Kids Night Safari Adventures package, a fun, family-friendly break that is ideal for both adults and kids. Whether you’re after a school holiday treat, a birthday stay, or just because you need someone else to do the planning, it’s a stay designed for everyone!

The Marina Bay View, Premier Suite: luxury, with a view to match
Rooms, Splendour, and a Bath Tub You’ll Want to Flaunt
The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore houses 608 rooms and suites, including 18 one-bedroom Millenia Suites, three two-bedroom Millenia Suites and the showstopping Ritz Suite.
We checked into one of the Marina Bay View Premier Suites, where waking up to sweeping skyline views through floor-to-ceiling windows is a memory that's definitely going to stay. The marble bathroom, bathed in natural light and fitted with a deep soaking tub facing the bay, is made for lingering well past sunset, with the city’s glow as your backdrop.
Adding to the spectacle were the National Day rehearsals – with front-row views that might just be the best in Singapore. With SG60 on the horizon, we caught the iconic practice runs in full swing, complete with fireworks lighting up the sky from the comfort of our living room and bedroom. On quieter nights, the city puts on a show – from the shimmering skyline to the Spectra light and water display at Marina Bay Sands, all visible without leaving the suite.
The design throughout is calm and refined: think pale woods, plush textures, and a sense of quiet, understated luxury. Club-level rooms come with access to the exclusive lounge, where you’ll find curated bites, evening cocktails, and that same postcard-perfect view – but more on that later.
For families or friends travelling together, the two-bedroom suites offer generous space, with separate living areas and ensuite bathrooms that don’t skimp on style or the skyline.

Your very own sleeping tent, with a pretend campfire
The Ritz Kids Night Safari Adventures - In-Room Glamping with All the Perks
The star of the show for little ones is the Ritz Kids Night Safari Adventure, an in-room glamping experience complete with a mini sleeping tent, LED lantern, Leo the lion plush toy, and even a pretend campfire. At check-in, young guests aged four to 12 receive a welcome kit that includes an activity book, colouring set, discovery map, a turndown treat and the cutest letter from the hotel’s new mascot, Leo the Lion. There’s even a reward system where kids collect all four animal stamps from around the hotel to score a scoop of ice cream from Colony’s Patisserie. Guests can choose from staying in an Elevated Kallang, Deluxe Marina, Premier Suite, Club Premier Suite or One-Bedroom Millenia Suite and enjoy daily breakfast for two adults and two children(up to 12 years of age), included in the package.
Weekends see the addition of a kids’ playroom on Level One, open Friday to Sunday, filled with books, games and quiet corners. A Game Menu means families can borrow classic board games any time, and there’s a cookie decorating kit waiting in the room, too.
And if you’re travelling with an even younger brood, the hotel’s baby-friendly amenities make things remarkably fuss-free. Infants and toddlers under four receive their own mini bath set, including baby shampoo, shower gel, lotion, soap and wipes during turndown service. Need extras? Baby cots, prams, bathtubs, bottle sterilisers and step stools are available on request (subject to availability), which takes a load off the packing list.

The Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
The Club Lounge - A Luxe Retreat with Endless Treats and Bay Views for Days
Looking for an all-out luxurious escape? Booking a Club-level room at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore adds a private sanctuary to an already indulgent stay.
The Club Lounge sits high above the city on the 32nd floor and quickly became our base throughout the day. Part dining room, part quiet retreat, and fully stocked sanctuary for both grown-ups and children. We were initially mindful about bringing little ones into a more refined space, but the mood was always warm, and the staff made young guests feel just as welcome. Children under 12 are welcome in the lounge from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm with plenty of time to enjoy all the highlights without feeling rushed.
Mornings kicked off with flaky pastries, made-to-order eggs, and freshly squeezed juices, alongside a generous spread of breakfast essentials. Mid-afternoon brought out the elegant tea set towers, finger sandwiches, scones, and a curated selection of TWG teas. Come evening, it was all about cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by desserts and digestifs from 8.30 pm: a well-earned wind-down for the grown-ups.

The Marina Bay skyline glows at sunset, and we often found ourselves lingering long after the plates were cleared. What stood out most was how intuitive the service felt. Staff remembered drink preferences, noticed when the kids needed a change of pace, and seemed to quietly pre-empt any request. One moment they were sipping juice served like Mum and Dad’s Prosecco, the next they were happily sketching away at the Drawing Room - an adjoining space complete with easels, colouring kits, and a welcome breather for parents. And yes, plushies appeared out of nowhere, drawing giggles and keeping the kids engaged.
While the Club Lounge is often billed as a space for business travellers, we found it especially helpful for families. It offers a calm, air-conditioned spot to recharge between activities, graze on snacks, or simply watch the city flicker to life through wall-to-wall windows. A complimentary limousine drop-off in the Marina Bay area was an extra benefit: ideal for those hoping to explore without dragging tired little feet across the promenade.

The Legendary Brunch at Colony, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
Colony - Singapore’s Favourite Buffet Location
If there’s one place you’ll still be talking about after checkout, it’s Colony. The all-day dining buffet is a favourite with both locals and guests, and it’s easy to see why. The spread includes everything from lobster laksa and freshly shucked oysters to tandoor-grilled meats and freshly steamed noodles. Even the drinks get a touch of theatre at The Fruit Stall, where juices are pressed fresh to order.
The star of the brunch? It has to be The Ice Bar: piled high with chilled seafood, pristine cuts of sashimi, and expertly prepared sushi, all served with a mountain of wasabi. And the dessert station? Think of it as a sugar-fuelled wonderland: rows of cakes, delicate pastries, house-churned gelato and sorbets, and towers of chocolate truffles in just about every flavour imaginable. If you’re lucky, you might catch the tiramisu being made à la minute, lush with mascarpone and a proper hit of coffee. Head here on a Sunday for the legendary Champagne Brunch, where the already lavish buffet gets dialled up several notches.

The breakfast buffet is just as strong. The spread is generous and global: steaming baskets of dim sum, made-to-order congee, Belgian waffles, cold-pressed juices, and a cheese and charcuterie section. Our highlights include the live avo-toast station, where slices of sourdough come loaded with avocado, tomatoes, onions, and a sumptuous helping of smoked salmon. And for the kids, it’s all about freshly made waffles and pancakes topped with their pick of sauces and fruit, customised on the spot.
Beyond Colony, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore offers several other options for indulgence. There’s Michelin-starred Cantonese fare at Summer Pavilion, and Republic, an elegant bar inspired by 1960s Singapore, which made it to Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023.

SG60 Offers: Celebrate Singapore, Ritz-Style
One of the best perks of staying at this iconic hotel is its location. You’re minutes from Singapore’s top attractions, with the bonus of a front-row seat to the city’s biggest show. If you’re lucky, your room might just offer sweeping views of the National Day fireworks, a sky-high vantage point to the nation’s favourite celebration.
Still need a reason to book? To mark Singapore’s 60th birthday, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore has rolled out a series of SG60-themed offers. Indulgent staycation packages with dining credits, special menus, and curated in-room touches that quietly salute the occasion.
One of our favourite packages pays tribute to Peranakan heritage with meaningful details: a hand-assembled ceramic tile coaster made in partnership with the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN), Peranakan tile-inspired chocolate pralines, and a bottle of champagne. You’ll also get a limited-edition chef lion plush toy, daily breakfast for two, and guaranteed late check-out until 3 pm.
As a bonus, guests with a ‘6’ in their birth date enjoy a complimentary room upgrade, while those born in 1965 score an even higher-tier upgrade. A stylish nod to personal milestones, done the Ritz way.

What Else to Do at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
