The Momentus Hotel Alexandra Singapore introduces its Rejuvenating Moments package: a quick, extra-mindful getaway that's still in town
The Momentus Hotel Alexandra Singapore’s new Rejuvenating Moments stay package places you right outside the hipster haven of Alexandra for a little getaway. The hotel has partnered with Yoga Movement, a popular yoga studio right across the street, for a wellness-themed collaboration that offers a spot of mindfulness.
The package includes a two-day, one-night stay in the hotel, a one-hour complimentary yoga session at Yoga Movement, and a three-course wellness lunch at the Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie.

Location of the Momentus Hotel Alexandra Singapore
The hotel is popular with business travellers, but we can see why it’ll attract a leisure crowd: the Momentus Alexandra is close to the transport hub Vivocity and island attraction Sentosa. It’s also right down the road from Gillman Barracks, an old military compound-turned arts cluster, HortPark, and the Southern Ridges hiking trail.
Singapore’s second-tallest peak, Mount Faber, is also close by: you’ll find restaurants, bars, charming rainforest, and a cable car ride down to Sentosa Island. Regular free shuttle bus services are available to and from the hotel and Harbourfront and Outram MRT stations, which will give you access to most train lines on the island.

Facilities and Rooms at Momentus Hotel Alexandra Singapore
The Momentus Alexandra has an infinity pool with various shallower lounging areas: it’s got a wide, unblocked view of the famous Interlace condominium and the Alexandra neighbourhood. The 25m pool has its own swim-up bar, the Verandah Pool Bar & Grill, which serves three signature cocktails and a wide variety of snacks.
The 24-hour gym is only available to residents and is fully equipped with treadmills, a dumbbell rack, a pull-up station, and an infused water hydration station in the corner. With full-length windows, it shares the pool and bar’s unobstructed views of Alexandra and the city.

The Rejuvenating Moments package comes with lounge access: the Momentum Club is on the hotel’s highest floor, with both indoor and outdoor areas. From breakfast to dinner, all-day food is served at the lounge, with an evening cocktail period. Floor-to-ceiling windows make this a very enjoyable place to watch the sunset.
The Momentum Club Room is included in this package: they are fuss-free and comfortable, with a view of the busy roads leading into Alexandra. At a comfortable but compact 24 square meters, the Club Room also contains a queen bed, rain shower and warm lighting.

Yoga Movement: Yoga Studio Partner in Alexandra, Singapore
We had to cross the street to get to Yoga Movement, a studio located above a café with open-air yoga rooms. There, we attended an hour-long yoga class that took us through the basics of yoga: our instructors had us bring a towel for use after the class, as the studio did not provide them. The session we attended began at 9:30am: we recommend that you choose a less busy period and come in in the afternoons, as the busier classes can reach upwards of 40 people.

Wellness Lunch at Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie
The three-course Wellness Lunch at Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie had a soup course, salad course, main course and a dessert: all of them were prepared light, healthy and with superfood ingredients like chia or quinoa.
The Zucchini Noodles, which had the soft springy texture of Korean buckwheat noodles but none of the carbs, were paired with basil pesto and feta: the feta gave them an appealing saltiness. The Avocado Quinoa Salad, a medley of crispy kale, black beans, olives and pickled cucumber, was also appropriately refreshing. Of the mains, we preferred the Baked Atlantic Toothfish with herb butter, which came lightly caramelised on top.

Wellness in the City at the Momentus Alexandra Singapore
The Momentus Alexandra Hotel offers a compact and highly efficient wellness getaway: there’s plenty to do in the hotel, across the road at Yoga Movement, and in the neighbourhood. You can head out for a hike at HortPark, lounge at the swim-up bar, or explore the heritage neighbourhood of Tiong Bahru if you’re willing to go a little further.
