Quintessentially French, macarons are tiny meringue-like desserts that are simply the perfect pick-me-up! In a city full of macarons, finding that moist, chewy, melt-in-the-mouth version can be quite the task. We rounded up some of the best places to score a delicious macaron in Singapore - rest assured, you will be back for seconds.
Macarons.sg
Macarons.sg was started by Founder and Executive Chef Kevin Teo in 2013 because of his wife’s love for macarons and that spurred him to make macarons for a living. Quitting his job, Kevin started baking, taking in orders and soon opened a shop.
Halal-certified, there are about 28 macaron flavours for you to choose from. On top of regular flavours, Macarons.sg brings unique Asian flavoured macarons such as the Asian Honey Mango, Chinese Lychee and the Chinese White Peach. The flavours have been expanded recently, adding Ondeh Ondeh, Bandung and Thai Iced Tea to the menu.
Besides the regular-sized round macarons found in their store at Syed Alwi Road, Macarons.sg also offers wedding door gifts, macaron towers and even 5-inch giant macarons that can be used as unique birthday cakes.
