Plenty of glittering views, good food, and thrilling action this Singapore Grand Prix weekend: can you keep up?
The Singapore Grand Prix weekend is arguably the city’s biggest party event. Having hosted the first nighttime race in Formula One history in 2008, Singapore remains the most coveted night race event on the calendar, and one of the most glamorous weekends of the season. Marina Bay lights up, stars descend on the city center, and anticipation builds for race day.
Many of the dinner-and-drinks events occurring over the weekend incorporate a watch party: Marina Bay’s many restaurants and bars know their audience, and keep up the excitement with live DJ sets, performances, and free-flow drinks. Several restaurants, like the celebrated Ensō Steakhouse at C.O.T.U (Center of the Universe), have launched their own race day-themed menus. Check out the offers, and make your strategy call for Singapore’s glitziest weekend.

What to Expect on Race Weekend: 3 to 5 October 2025
The main events of the Singapore Grand Prix take place from Friday to Sunday, 3 to 5 October 2025. On Friday, two Practice Sessions take place in the late afternoon and evening, and the final session happens late Saturday afternoon. These sessions allow drivers and teams to get to know the track, make adjustments to their cars, and for you to hedge your bets.
Saturday’s main event is the Qualifying session, at 9pm: this determines the starting grid at the main race. The closer to the start a driver gets on Saturday, the more likely they are to finish in top positions on Sunday, though we’ve seen some unexpected winners. The race proper takes place on Sunday, at 9pm.

The Elevation Lounge, Moët & Chandon
To celebrate Formula One’s decade-long partnership with LVMH, The Elevation Lounge by Moët & Chandon takes to the skies over Singapore for the first time. Moët & Chandon has been the Formula One podium’s choice of champagne since the 1950s, and has accompanied legendary drivers through watershed moments.
The Elevation Lounge features a much-larger-than-life Hot Air Balloon, shaped like a massive champagne cork, that floats above the Marina Bay area with beautiful views of the circuit. This floating pop-up is open to the public all race weekend, from 3-5 October, all day from 3pm to 11pm. Every day, the Hot Air Balloon will be inflated on-site: an unmissable visual spectacle that captures the joy and celebration of the Maison.
Inspired by a retro French kiosk, the Elevation Lounge is playful, summery, and effortlessly chic. Chilled Moët & Chandon champagne is served with upscale-casual French fare, against curated heritage walls that display the history of the Maison. Stay on long enough, and you’ll catch an exclusive collaboration with SUSHISAMBA Singapore: a special menu that pairs signature SUSHISAMBA dishes with Moët & Chandon champagnes, live samba performances and DJ sets.

The Singapore Grand Prix: More to Look Forward To
It’s been confirmed that next year’s Singapore Grand Prix (2026) will feature a sprint event: that’s a shorter qualifying and race session on Friday and Saturday afternoons. This means more on-track action to take in over Saturday brunch, more conversations, and perhaps even longer Friday parties.
