Rendang is a staple in Nusantara cuisine and using local ingredients, Nusantara Singapore presents a Chicken Rendang Lasagna (S$18) made with Roti Jala (lace pancake), layered with chicken rendang, mozzarella, coconut bechamel instead of bechamel sauce, and sliced tomatoes.
Who doesn’t love a good bowl of nostalgic mee rebus? Chefs at Nusantara Singapore have created Mee Rebusta (S$18)—an awesome combination of a local favourite dish and pasta! Made with Fettuccine, topped with sliced beef, ebi prawns, beancurd, egg, green chillies, spring onions, and homemade gravy.

Pita Tree Mediterranean Grilled Kebabs has launched their very first National Day special menu centred around our local favourite dish—Chicken Satay!
Taking this very Singaporean dish, the culinary team at Pita Tree has managed to pair their grilled chicken kebabs with a satay peanut sauce made in-house from scratch.
You can choose to order this in the form of a Chicken Satay Bowl that comes with juicy charcoal-grilled chicken kebab pieces, satay peanut sauce, basmati rice, and fresh-cut vegetables; or choose the Chicken Satay Wrap or Pita Bread option.
Both National Day special dishes come at S$12.90 for takeaway or S$15 for islandwide delivery.

Subway Singapore is launching its first-ever local flavour pairing: Rendang Sub and Pandan Cookie. The familiar flavour of Rendang will now be available to Singaporeans via the Rendang Sub that comes in both chicken and beef.
The Rendang Sub includes chilli, onion, turmeric, ginger, garlic, desiccated coconut, tamarind, lemongrass and a unique spice and herb mixture. All this renders the meat soft and juicy and gives the Rendang Sub an irresistible, robust and aromatic taste. You can choose your own fresh vegetables, but Subway recommends pairing the rendang meat with Old English Cheddar Cheese, Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Mixed Pepper and Onions for an especially flavourful explosion.
