Guerlain reintroduces KissKiss with a blur matte finish, refillable case and Song Hye-kyo fronting its sleek new chapter
Team matte, listen up. Guerlain is giving KissKiss a sharper, more modern update and we’re here for it. The House’s signature lipstick returns with a blur matte finish, a slimmer gold case and a formula built for long wear. Leading the campaign is Song Hye-kyo, whose understated elegance sets the mood for this new direction.
KissKiss has been part of Guerlain’s beauty line-up for over two decades, shifting from balm to lipstick and into tinted care along the way. This latest version zones in on matte, while keeping things comfortable and easy to wear. The texture is soft and lightweight, designed to sit close to the lips while delivering high colour payoff. It wears for up to 24 hours and resists transfer, without the heavy feel often linked to matte formulas.
The formula also draws from Guerlain’s long-standing link to the bee. Honey, beeswax, royal jelly and propolis work to smooth and condition the lips, while a dual-polymer system helps the colour stay in place. It’s comfortable, but with enough structure to last through the day.

Designed to Be Seen
Rest assured, the update carries through to the packaging. KissKiss now comes in a slimmer, faceted gold case with a honeycomb motif and the signature Guerlain bee. The new refillable design allows one case to move between all 20 shades, reducing the environmental footprint with 28% less packaging, 39% fewer CO₂ emissions and a 38% reduction in fossil fuel impact. Customers can also opt for engraving at Guerlain boutiques for a more personal touch.
There are 20 shades in total, spanning nudes, reds, pinks, plums and oranges. With five nudes, reds and pinks each plus two plums and three orange shades, this selection allows enough range to move between everyday wear and something more dressed-up.
There is also a new scent created for this KissKiss launch. Guerlain’s Director of Perfume Creation, Delphine Jelk, has reworked the lipstick’s fragrance with a delicate honey accord, radiant orange blossom and a soft note of vanilla.

Our Take on the Guerlain KissKiss Blur Matte Lipstick
KissKiss Blur Matte wins with its texture. Unlike other matte formulations, it feels lighter with a soft-blurred effect that smoothens the look of lips. It is also non-drying and won’t accentuate the lines on your lips.
The colour payoff is strong from the first swipe, so there isn’t a need to keep layering for intensity either.
If you like scent, this one will make you look forward to its sensorial experience. Soft honeyed, with a floral warmth rather than overwhelming and distracting. As for the case, it’s the perfect embossed gold to pull out of your bag.
The new Guerlain KissKiss lipstick is priced at SGD 66, with refills at SGD 51 and available across Guerlain boutiques in Singapore.
