Starter: Garden Greens Salad which consists of organic kale, romaine lettuce, avocado, and puffed wild rice with green goddess dressing.

Main Course (choice of): Oven Baked Sustainably Caught Salmon with char-grilled broccolini and salsa vierge; or Pan-Seared Organic Corn-Fed Chicken Breast with sweet corn purée and grilled asparagus.

Dessert: Mango Passionfruit Sorbet, paired with Lemongrass Granita and Coconut Malibu Whipped

The retreat began at 10am with a proper consultation, a step that immediately signalled this was not going to be a rushed, cookie-cutter spa day. The therapist walked through the treatment menu in detail, which is where the deliberation began.

Body Scrub

The menu presented a classic Turkish body scrub, my usual default, alongside a Detoxifying Marine Scrub designed to aid in the elimination of dead cells and excess fluids. I opted for the latter out of curiosity, and it delivered exactly what it promised: skin and body felt renewed. It was done in such a manner that it was not too messy. A quick rinse was needed before the massage. 

Massage

The massage menu deserves a mention in its own right. I was genuinely tempted by the Signature Asian Blend, a combination of Thai pressure points, Balinese and Malaysian strokes, and Chinese energy flow techniques designed to balance energy throughout the body. It sounds like a treatment worth returning for.

Also notable on the menu: the Healing Himalayan Hot Salt Stone Massage, which uses stones containing 84 naturally-occurring minerals and salts. On this visit, however, I needed something gentler and chose the Relax Aroma Massage , which, in the best possible way, put me into a second slumber.

OBAGI Medical Facial

The OBAGI facial was customised specifically to my skin needs, this was not a generic treatment applied uniformly. The therapist was exceptional: knowledgeable, attentive, and precise. Skin visibly clearer and more luminous by the end.

Wellness Lunch at Origin Grill

After the treatments, I made my way to Origin Grill for the three-course wellness lunch, a healthy, wholesome close to a deeply restorative morning. The food matched the tone of the rest of the retreat: nourishing, considered, and genuinely satisfying.
