Once Upon a Time in Cuba

Ever wanted to go to Havana, Cuba? The Tippling Club is bringing the balmy beaches of Cuba with a sassy selection of Cuban-inspired cocktails and canapés for an evening of rum-fuelled revelry.

Be amongst the first to take a swig of the Vida Rica—a rich, lively concoction by Tippling Club’s very own Jonathan Lee—before he makes its way to the Singapore Bacardi Legacy finals.

Singapore Art Week(end) at Singapore Art Museum

This weekend Singapore Art Museum celebrates one of the most sought after art events in Singapore – Singapore Art Week. The museum features artist performances including live music sessions, an art market and a street picnic at SAM at 8Q.

Ongoing exhibitions are Learning Gallery: Once Upon This Island, Project Dreamcatchers 2016: Into the Looking Glass and Singapore Biennale 2016: An Atlas of Mirrors. We highly recommend attending all of the thought provoking exhibitions!

Immortality Project I by Sam Jinks

Sculptor Sam Jinks is having his new exhibition Immortality Project I where he focuses on the symbolic self, generating a personal belief system seeks to be part of something that won’t die with the physical body – something eternal. His exhibition explores the duality of humanness of the physical world and the symbolic world of meaning.

Sam is renowned for his fascination with the human figure which he constructs from silicone, fiberglass and resin.

Weekend Roasts @ Jamie’s Italian

Are you a fan of Jamie Oliver? Jamie’s Italian Singapore is offering a fabulous Weekend Roast every weekend starting this January. Think rustic Weekend Roasts served on big wooden boards with roasted root vegetables and lashings of gravy, these meat feasts are perfect for sharing with the whole family.

The menu changes weekly, with pork, lamb, beef, chicken and fish dishes available on any given weekend with the likes slow-roasted stuffed pork belly, whole roasted spring chicken and a herb-crusted rack of lamb. YUM!

The 1st Women’s March Fundraiser in Singapore

If you are a believer that women’s rights are human rights, head on over to Skyline Club & Lounge this Saturday for a fundraiser in solidarity with the 1st Women’s March in DC held the day after Trump’s inauguration.

Let’s stand together here in Singapore and take a stance for your sisters, mothers and wives to amplify the message of safety, tolerance and inclusion in consonance with the Women marchin gin DC. Free entry will be given to everyone who brings "proof of donation" to Planned Parenthood ActionACLU Nationwide or the Southern Poverty Law Center
